In most cases, used vehicles are purchased AS-IS, with no warranty. Customers are responsible for making sure the car they purchase does not have underlying issues. A used vehicle should always be taken to a mechanic prior to purchase. Any repairs are ultimately the sole financial responsibility of the buyer. Vehicle repair costs do not allow a lapse in car payments.
Although Consumer Mortgage Company is not required to do so, the company will evaluate some repairs on a case-by-case basis. Situations that qualify may be referred to an in-house repair shop for a repair estimate. Consumer Mortgage Company does not cover the cost of the repair. Customer is fully responsible for all towing, storage and repair costs.
