Payment Options

To repair your credit, making on-time payments is very important. Your contract with CMC does not offer a "Grace Period" so you must make each payment on the due date specified on your contract. Any payments received after your due date will be considered past due and you may owe additional interest, late fees or risk repossession. If extraordinary circumstances prevent you from making a payment on time, contact us directly as soon as possible. Listed below are different payment options. Choose the payment option that works best for you. Please note that some payment options will incur a convenience fee. 

ONLINE

Pay from the convenience of your computer or mobile device. Click below or call us for instructions on setting up your account for online payments. A $5.00 convenience fee will apply for each online payment. To avoid this fee, you can sign up for recurring monthly payments. 

*Payoff amounts are NOT reflected online. Please call 713-802-2222 for your payoff amount.

You can make a phone payment with your checking account, debit or credit card during business hours. 

Monday - Friday: 10am-5pm

By Mail

Please mail a check or money order to:

Write your account number on the check and allow at least 10 days for your payment to arrive by mail. If you are at or near your payment due date, please consider bringing your payment to the office or making a phone payment. 

WESTERN UNION

Make a cash payment at any Western Union location with your account number. Use the QUICK COLLECT form and Code City "MaryB." Western Union fees may apply.

Insurance Requirements

Policy

You MUST have auto insurance during the entire term of your loan. If you don't maintain insurance, you may be charged fees or risk repossession.

Minimum Requirements

  • Comprehensive & Collision
  • Deductible must be under $1000
  • 6 month or 1 year policy
  • Consumer Mortgage Co. as lien holder
  • Contract signer must be a driver on policy

If there are extreme circumstances that will keep you from making an on-time payment, please contact us as soon as possible so we can work out a solution. Any modification to your payment plan may incur a fee.

Yes. CMC reports to  TransUnion and Experion credit bureaus at the end of each month. It may take several months for new information appear on your credit record.

If you have paid off your car, your title will be mailed to the address on record in 30 days. If you have not received your title after this time, please call our office. If you've lost your title, call for a release of lien.
